Make Today Amazing ("the app") is a daily poem app. This page explains what information is collected when you use the app or website, and how it's used.
The app keeps your favorites, selected language and poem length, reminder settings, and which poems you have already seen directly on your device, using standard local app storage. This information is not transmitted to us or stored on any server, and stays on your device unless you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
English poems are written ahead of time (with the help of AI) and are built into the app, so showing an English poem does not require a network request.
When you choose another language, a poem is written on request. In that case a short list of recently shown poem titles and themes (not any personal information), along with your chosen language and poem length, is sent to our server and processed using the Anthropic Claude API to write the poem text, which is then returned to your device. We do not retain this traffic beyond what's needed to process the request.
The app offers a one time purchase that removes ads. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store and managed using RevenueCat, a purchase management service. RevenueCat receives purchase information (such as whether the purchase was made) in order to unlock the correct features and let you restore your purchase on a new device. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how they handle this data. Earlier versions of the app offered subscriptions, and existing subscribers keep ad free access.
Unless you purchase Remove Ads, the app shows a full screen ad occasionally between poems, using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers and related data to select and measure ads, in accordance with Google's own policies. On iOS, the app asks your permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
